   I've been steadily stitching on Mystery XII and am very happy to report that I'm 3/4 through part 10 and 1/2+ through part 11! I should have the third side of part 11 finished this afternoon. With luck, I may have both parts finished in the next couple of days - more likely this weekend. but I'll be caught up again! I can't believe that I'll be going into the last part...

   Oh yes, I've been stashing like crazy this week and it's been soooo much fun!!!
   
   The weather on Saturday finally cooperated and we were able to get out fishing! Got to VA Beach bright and early, but had some issues with the wrap around - frozen zippers, etc. that kept us at the dock for lots longer than we expected. Despite DH's talk of "staying out all day and going back out tonight", we made it all of two hours before his leg started bothering him enough that we...

4. First Frost...

   Yep, we had our first frost yesterday and DH got his first deer of the season - a fairly good sized doe. He's down cutting it up now. My ankle is swollen, red and PAINFUL! Not sure what I've done to it, don't remember a twist or pull that would cause this. I've toyed with the thought that I was bitten, but have no idea what would cause this type of reaction - one heck of a spider!!
   
   No, you're right, that's got nothing to do with stitching, but I haven't got...

6. Last Entry in October

   Another month come and almost gone. Hard to believe that it will be Christmas in two short months! Saturday will be 12 weeks since DH broke his leg. Still no word on when he might be able to get back to work. His appointment in two weeks will be for an x-ray and either getting totally out of the boot or weaning him out of it. I had hoped he'd be back by Thanksgiving, but I think Christmas is closer to realistic now.
   
   This has been another bust week for stitching. Not one...

7. OAAT

   Looks like I"m going OAAT (one-at-a-time) for the foreseeable future on Mystery XII. Parts 9 and 10, while not huge parts are taking forever to finish! I completed part 9 the 18th of this month and have only managed to complete one corner (and that's not completely done, I still have one bird and 1-1/2 "ornaments" to go). Finishing part 9 got me to my goal for this one for the year, but I'm so close to a finish that I don't want to let it slide. I've got 3 full...

8. Sick and tired...

   of being sick and tired!! I do so want to stitch and with four days out of work, I should have achieved soooo much, but I've done nothing. Not. One. Thing. I am sooo tried of this stomach bug!!! I just want to feel better so that I can get some much needed stitching done.
   
   My plan right now is to tell DH he's on his own tomorrow, stew in the crock pot and lock myself in the den. Stitching and college football all day long. Great plans and all that rot...
